# Arnhem Relief Attempt Operation # Relief Suburbs Keep the road clear of Germans. Lt.-Col. Frost and his men need this supply corridor. Expect strong resistance now that surprise has been lost. If you fail to hold this map after the morning of the 19th, the operation will be canceled and surviving troops will be sent to the Oosterbeek operation. # Relief Tree Road Secure your objectives and keep the road to Arnhem open. Watch for German occupation of positions across the river. Units on that side of the river cannot claim objectives, but they can lay down a nasty cross-fire. # Relief West Approach You fought hard to secure this area in the Arnhem Bridge operation, but now the Germans threaten to take it back. Do everything you can to keep this avenue clear of enemy troops. This may be an impossible task, because enemy troop strength will continue to increase while yours decreases. Your reinforcements should arrive on Day 3. The road must remain in British hands so that Lt.-Col. Frost's men remain supplied and in contact with the rest of 1st Airborne. If you let the Germans take this area, your men will be cut off at the Arnhem Bridge.
