This is a beta upgrade to Version 1.0 of Rune Quake.  Extract the RQ3v2Beta1.pk3 file into your Rune folder.<BR>

Runes added in Version 2 Beta 1

Antigravity Rune
Gravity has a slightly lower effect on holders of this rune.  Activate it to get up to 10 seconds of almost no gravity.
If it is active, the power counts down from 10.  If it is off, it recharges.  Use it to fake out enemies that anticipate your landing spots.


Rune of Electromagnetic Pulse
Another one-shot rune, this one destroys the ammo of everyone in the radius of effect, including you.  Gauntlet time!


Overkill Rune
GREATLY increases your firing rate.  Chews ammo so fast you won't believe it.


Charm
Use this one someone and for the next 30 seconds you steal every frag they get.
Warning!  If they manage to kill you in that 30 seconds, they get back all the frags you stole from them AND they take that many more again from you!


Death's Little Helper
When you have this rune, you get frags every time someone dies an utimely death.  (falling damage, drowning, slime, lava, etc)


Rune of Necromancy
The possesor of this rune can yank energy from un-gibbed corpses with the gauntlet to give himself certain abilities.  Each corpse gives you a certain amount of energy.  (FYI, none of your weapons will gib people will you have this rune, but bodies can only be gibbed for a short time, so make sure you get out that gauntlet quickly!)

With 2 or more corpses, you can give yourself Quad = (# of corpses stored-1) * 5 seconds

6 or more allows you send out a necromantic pulse that does damage = 50 + (# of corpses stored-5)*10

10 allows you send out a necromantic blast that does damage = (your health-1) * 10, but also reduces you to 1 health.

10 is the max, every corpse you grab above 10 gives you 5 seconds of Quad.

You cannot use pulse or blast on people with vampiric, health, enviro, or necro runes, and people with reflection will take the damage but also dish it back at you, as will vengeance runes.
